Toronto Rapper Top 5 Stabbed in the Neck Outside Wireless Festival in London

A Toronto rapper known as Top 5 (legal name Hassan Ali) was reportedly stabbed in the neck by a masked assailant while interacting with fans near the Wireless Festival in London.

He had traveled to support Drake, who headlined three nights at the festival. Emergency responders rushed him to a hospital, and he is now in stable condition.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, though some speculate it could stem from recent tensions following Top 5’s public comments labeling UK rappers as “soft,” or from fallout over a prior stunt involving Kendrick Lamar’s hotel in Toronto.

Top5 has not issued a public statement, but sources confirm he is recovering under close care.
