Naked Woman Fires At Drivers On Bay Bridge

Today, we're bringing you a rather unusual news story from one of the busiest bridges in California.
During rush hour on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, a woman caused quite a stir. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman, who was naked, got out of her car and began firing a gun.
The incident began when a driver called 911 to report that another driver had brandished a gun at them on the I-80 span, which crosses the San Francisco Bay, around 4:40 p.m. The woman then stopped her car in the middle of her lane, got out with a knife, and started yelling at other drivers.
She then returned to her car and continued driving to Oakland, but stopped again at a toll plaza. This time, she exited the car with a gun and without any clothes. The woman then began firing randomly at the cars that were backed up behind her.
The woman was captured on video walking along the shoulder of the road and firing her weapon into the air. When officers arrived, they were able to convince her to drop her weapon and took her into custody without any further incident.
Miraculously, no injuries were reported, and the suspect's motivation remains unclear. She was placed on a mental health hold in a local hospital and will be booked on unspecified charges upon her release.
The incident led to the closure of the bridge for more than an hour eastbound, causing residual delays throughout the evening.
