Kendrick Lamar was recently spotted entering a recording studio in New York City's West Village, sparking speculation about new music on the horizon.

The sighting comes amid his ongoing Grand National Tour with SZA, which includes performances at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on May 8 and 9.

While details about the studio session remain undisclosed, collaborator Lefty Gunplay previously hinted at a deluxe edition of Lamar's 2024 album GNX, noting that Lamar has "some stuff in the chamber".

Despite being released last November, GNX continues to perform strongly on the charts, with the SZA collaboration "Luther" holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 consecutive weeks, tying a record for duets by co-billed lead solo male and female artists.
