Kanye West Releases Donda 2 to Streaming Platforms for the First Time

Kanye West has officially made his long-awaited album Donda 2 available on major streaming platforms for the first time.

Originally released in February 2022, the album was initially exclusive to West’s $200 Stem Player, limiting access to a niche audience.

Now available on Spotify, YouTube Music, and Tidal, the 18-track project was uploaded under a new artist profile called “Donda,” rather than West’s main account.

The streaming version includes updates like new tracks “Mr. Miyagi” featuring Future and Playboi Carti, and a refined version of “530,” which previously appeared in rough form on Vultures 2.

Notably absent from the release is “Eazy,” the controversial track featuring The Game.

However, the album was pulled from streaming services just hours after its debut.

The takedown followed legal threats from producers Jahmal "Boogz Da Beast" Gwin and Brian "AllDay" Miller, who alleged they weren’t paid for their contributions.

Their manager, DeAndre “Free” Maiden, demanded the removal over unauthorized use of their work.

West responded on social media, claiming Maiden attempted to charge him $3 million for the beats and vented his frustration with the situation.

The album cover remains the same as the original—West’s childhood home engulfed in flames.

The track “Sci-Fi” still features a sample of Kim Kardashian’s 2021 SNL monologue, where she calls Ye “the richest Black man in America” and “a talented, legit genius.”

The chaotic rollout adds another layer to the already controversial and complex history of Donda 2.
