Kanye West Plans to Sue Dentist for Alleged 'Life-Altering' Medical Malpractice

Kanye West, also known as Ye, and his wife Bianca Censori have announced their intention to sue Beverly Hills dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly, alleging severe medical malpractice that led to Ye's addiction to nitrous oxide and subsequent health issues.

According to a formal notice of intent to sue, Connelly is accused of administering excessive amounts of nitrous oxide commonly known as laughing gas to Ye during dental procedures from 2024 to 2025.

The couple claims that Connelly supplied "surgical-size" nitrous oxide tanks to their residence and instructed Ye on self-administration, leading to neurological damage, psychological trauma, and a dependency on the gas.

The notice also alleges that Connelly administered propofol, a powerful anesthetic, outside of a medical setting, resulting in extreme mental and physical distress for Ye.

These actions reportedly caused significant disruption to Ye's personal and professional life, as well as emotional distress for Censori, who had to care for her husband during this period.

Dr. Connelly has previously denied any wrongdoing through a representative. As per California law, a formal notification must be served 90 days before filing a medical malpractice lawsuit.

The couple's legal team has indicated that they possess communications from Connelly expressing regret, which could be pivotal in court proceedings.
