Kanye West Goes Off on Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole in Latest Rant

Kanye West has reignited his feud with Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, delivering a scathing critique of their artistry during a recent livestream with rapper Top5.

In the broadcast, West didn't hold back, stating, "I hate J. Cole. It can’t even be called music. I hate J. Cole."

He further commented on both artists, saying, "It’s something about both J. Cole and Kendrick that kinda... reminds me of each other... It’s just not that sauce to me."

West also took aim at Kendrick's fanbase, asserting, "Anybody that say Kendrick is one of their favorite rappers, don’t know about rap, doesn’t know about real rap."

This isn't the first time West has expressed disdain for these artists.

In April, he tweeted, "I hate J Cole music so much. It’s like between Kendrick and J Cole. I bet you industry plants asked J Cole to diss Drake then we would have been accosted with a J Cole Super Bowl commercial with no SZA song to save it."

Despite his criticisms, West has shown admiration for other artists.

He praised Will Smith, calling him "one of my biggest inspirations," and acknowledged Drake, stating, "How I hate Drake and I’m team Drake at the same time. Life is funny like that. It’s the weird thing where I feel closest to Drake outta any body in rap."

Neither Kendrick Lamar nor J. Cole have publicly responded to West's remarks.​
