Kanye West Defiantly Responds to Streaming Platforms Pulling "Heil Hitler" Track

Kanye West, now known as Ye, released a new song titled "Heil Hitler" on May 8, 2025, which has been removed from major streaming platforms due to its controversial content.
The track features provocative lyrics and references to Adolf Hitler, leading to widespread backlash.
In response to the removal, Ye expressed his frustration on social media, stating, "Heil Hitler by Ye has been banned by all digital streaming platforms while Rednecks by Randy Newman remains streamable. They're literally keeping the n****s down".
He compared his song to Newman's "Rednecks," which includes racial slurs but is considered a satirical critique of racism.
The music video for "Heil Hitler" features Black men in formation, chanting the song's hook while wearing animal skins, and concludes with a sample from a 1935 speech by Adolf Hitler.
The release has been condemned by various organizations, including the American Jewish Committee, which labeled the song as "blatant antisemitism" and "disgusting," urging the music industry to "step up and speak out against this obscenity".
This incident adds to a series of controversies surrounding Ye, including previous antisemitic remarks and the promotion of swastika-emblazoned merchandise.
His actions have led to severed ties with major brands and widespread criticism from various communities.
