Joe Budden Says He’s Ready to Rap Again After Nearly a Decade Away

Joe Budden has expressed a strong desire to return to rap after nearly a decade away from the booth.
On a recent episode of his podcast, he admitted, "I want to rap... I do, I ain't gon' lie. The only thing stopping me is I don't have the beat packs and I don't request them."
He mentioned producers like The Alchemist and Jake One as people he'd consider working with to reignite his creativity.
A recent freestyle by Ransom reminded Budden of his own lyrical roots, prompting him to reach out.
Ransom told him, "N****, stop that podcasting sh*t, you know who you are in your heart and in your soul! You want to come back to the game, do it!"
Budden joked about calling up Ransom, Royce da 5'9", and 38 Spesh, saying, "We back!"
He admitted some concerns about his voice and breath control after quitting smoking but said he'd be open to a passion project.
His co-hosts agreed that with a few months of preparation, he could return to form.
No official plans are in place, but Budden’s comments have sparked real buzz around a potential comeback.
