DDG Reaffirms Support for Drake, Says He's Above Kendrick Lamar

DDG is standing firm in his loyalty to Drake over Kendrick Lamar.

During a recent appearance on the Mani Petty podcast, he called Drake the “best artist alive,” pointing to his success across multiple genres.

“Drake’s gone platinum across every genre. Nobody else is doing that,” DDG said.

This isn’t the first time DDG has shown love to Drake. He’s previously said he’s looked up to the rapper since childhood.

While the two have never collaborated, Drake did acknowledge DDG’s success in the streaming world during a gambling livestream with Adin Ross.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar continues to gain momentum with his Grand National Tour alongside SZA.

Both artists remain at the top of the charts with “luther” and “Nokia” making noise.

SZA’s album SOS also recently broke a Billboard record, surpassing Michael Jackson for the most weeks at number one.
